The Cratex pro line knee pads are made to wear over your work clothing. With neoprene straps and Velcro closures, the knee pads fit snugly on your knees and stay securely in place. Using knee pads not only protects your knees but also your work pants, which could otherwise be quickly damaged on rough or hard surfaces. Cratex pro line work pants are already equipped with Cordura sections on the knees, but for truly heavy-duty tasks, knee pads are indispensable.

Standard EN 14404 :2004 + A1:2010 type 1 class 1

That's quite a mouthful, but this standard indicates the requirements that the knee pads meet. EN 14404:2004 + A1:2010 refers to knee protection for work in a kneeling position. Type 1 Class 1 means that the knee pad is resistant to surfaces that typically pose no risk from objects larger than 1 cm. The knee pad must provide protection against perforation from forces up to 100 Newton.
